Marquetry is the art of using wood veneers of different species and colors to create pictures.

These marquetry pictures are all hand made by Jane Burke and therefore each picture is unique.  Each piece of wood veneer making up the different elements of the design is cut out with a craft knife, then glued together to form the marquetry sheet.  This sheet is then glued to a wooden substrate, sanded and finished.

I accept custom orders.  If you have a specific picture you would like me to produce in marquetry send me the picture and the dimensions you would like the picture to be and I will give you an estimate.
