This 3-session class is your chance to learn more than just the basics about marquetry and inlay. If you have already tried your hand at marquetry, or if you have not but you are serious about getting into it, this is the class for you. The basics will be covered but then we jump into "the next step". If you have a project you would like to work on bring your patterns and any wooden items which need adorning with marquetry. This is your chance to have your instructor at your side while learning how to create marquetry for that specif project or simply for future projects in general. Marquetry panels will be started in class but work at home will be required to get more done. If you do not have your own, specific project, you will complete at least 2 panels which will be provided.
